When we remove trees and the wood is of
suitable quality we convert the wood into sculptures or timber the most common
wood sculptures we produce are mushrooms and toadstools mainly because they
look the best in any size garden.
We produce all wood sculptures using chainsaws and tend to use
green wood as it is more supple and better to carve than seasoned wood however
one drawback is that green wood unless regularly treated with Danish oil
can split and ruin the sculpture if it dries out to quickly.

When we remove large trees and
there is a good amount of large stems we often get a mobile planking machine
on-site and convert the wood into planks or beams most customers keep the wood
for use in constructing tree houses or rustic outdoor furniture as
reminder of their old tree.
